He WARNED His Wife’s Pit Bull Would HARM His Newborn, She Didn’t Listen. Then THIS Happened!

Dogs are adorable and people love to have them around (I mean most people). When newborn babies come home, it is often doubted that the dog will be fit to remain in the house. But, I guess, dogs understand that they need to be safe around the delicate baby, which is why many amazing stories of how they treat babies make rounds on the internet. Here is one such story which would make you go "Awww.."

Greg Heynen, like any other parent was bit worried for safety of his newborn child, as his wife’s Pit Bull/Labrador mix Zack did not seem to be too good. He warned his wife that if Zack even nips at the baby, he would have to leave.

But after the baby was born, it looked as if Zack has fallen in love with the little one. He licked her immensely till Greg had to keep him away. He indeed protected her by putting his one paw on her blanket all times.

He slept with her all times.

He even waited for them to come at the foot stairs so that he goes to her room along with her and then sleep with her.

Zack poisoned

But awfully, someone poisoned Zack, and it was probably the neighborhood kids which is why the little girl was asked to say goodbye and she was upset no one would walk up to the room with her.

Dad introduced another dog.

The loving dad Greg had his own dog, Sam, who then walked up to the little girl and asked her to go upstairs with him and for the next six years he waited for her like Zack did. Adorable!!
