As far as surprises go, getting an adorable puppy plopped onto your bed is a pretty solid effort. And that’s exactly what this young man did to his sleeping wife!
There’s just something about puppies that adds a special dimension to a gift.
It probably has something to do with their unyielding cuteness, but I digress!
The man recorded a Facebook Live video early in the morning, when it was still dark outside in Palm Beach County, Florida.
In the video below, as he walks and talks about how his wife has been asking him for her own puppy for the last four years, he reveals the little pup in his arms, a 2-month-old Shih-poo he calls “the cutest little puppy.”
His plan of action: sneaking into their room and plopping the puppy into their bed while his wife sleeps.
He gently places the little pup in the bed, and it quickly turns around as if to say “Hey man, she’s asleep! Also, I’m hungry.”
After a few “Hey Babes” to get her to wake up, his wife finally takes in a breath, sits up, and opens her eyes.
She looks down at the pup, then at her husband, and her eyes widen as she covers her mouth in shock.
The pup, sleepy himself, lies down on the bed next to her while she giggles and continues to pet and caress the puppy.
